The governor who quoted with authority from the Bible admonished the newly consecrated bishops to be steadfast and courageous in carrying out their sacerdotal duties as servant leaders.
While speaking on the state of the nation, the erudite scholar asked for fervent unceasing prayers for the Nigerian nation against the downward trend in her economy. According to him, the Church has a great responsibility to the nation and should not allow negative comments to stop her from praying for God’s intervention.
He concluded that since only God has the solution to the problems of the nation then the requests for total turnaround must be conveyed to him through his oracles.
