BIRTH
Timothy Yahaya was born to the family of Late Rev’d Yahaya Tabbat in the year of our Lord 1967. He was born at Wusasa Hospital now St. Luke’s Anglican Hospital. His mother is Mrs. Talatu Yahaya. He is a second-generation Christian. He is a native of Manyi agwi of Zangon Kataf Local Government and his mother tongue is Tyap.
EDUCATION
Timothy Yahaya attended primary school, and secondary school and by God’s grace had tertiary education. He obtained the following certificates:

THE CALL & MINISTRY
The young Timothy was deacon on the 17th of June 1998, priested on the 27th of June 1999, preferred Canon June 2001, appointed Canon Residentiary 2002, was youth chaplain from 1998 to 2001, and appointed EFAC chaplain from 2001 to 2006. He was chaplain of Anglican Youth Fellowship Province III. He was appointed member of the board of St. Francis of Assisi Theological College, Wusasa, Zaria from 2002-2006, member board of Christian Institute Jos 2009-2012, and member of the Governing Council, Crowther Graduate Theological Seminary, Abeokuta 2017-2020.
He was elected Bishop and consecrated Bishop on the 26th of November 2006. Enthroned Bishop of Jalingo 2006, was translated to the Diocese of Kaduna 2015.
In Ecumenism, he was the coordinator of CAN Argungu and Augie zone, Kebbi state. He was Assistant Secretary Kebbi state CAN. By divine providence, he became State CAN Chairman in Kebbi state and State CAN Chairman in Taraba state.
FAMILY
Timothy is married to Esther and the marriage is blessed with 3 lovely children.
