The Rt. Rev’d Timothy Yahaya, Bishop of the Anglican Diocese of Kaduna has stated that the greatest expression of God’s love to mankind is the blood of Jesus. According to him, the blood of Jesus covers every guilt that man has ever had and would ever have.

Bishop Yahaya made this known while he delivered his online message at the 2020 Easter Mega Rally of the Diocese of Kaduna, Anglican Communion.

Speaking on the theme, “Power in the blood of Jesus”, the Bishop explained that the blood of Jesus Christ has provided everything a believer needs to live a life of victory, redemption, fellowship, healing, protection and to have power over the devil.

He observed that though Christians know about the blood of Jesus, especially because of the Holy Eucharist celebration during Church services, many are yet to genuinely know what the blood has provided for them.

Using mnemonics, Bishop Timothy Yahaya opined that the blood of Jesus has the power to Cleanse a man from sin, to transform the Character of the believer; it is the Cost for the salvation of man; it gives the believer the power to be a Conqueror; it is the reason man can Confidently come to God in prayer, the reason for the return of man’s Connection with God; and it gives the believer the opportunity to have a Covenant relationship with God.

The cleric stressed that only the blood of Jesus could permanently cleanse man from sin and every unrighteousness.

He said, “The only remedy for sin is the blood of Jesus.”

The Rt. Rev’d Timothy Yahaya stated that all a person needs to be connected to God is to believe in the blood of Jesus. He added that a person could not claim to be a believer without a noticable change in his or her lifestyle.

According to him, “If we belong to Christ, we must be His examples on earth, and our character must reflect Him.”
