The Primate who took his short message from one of the passages read, Revelation Chapter 7 from verse 13 said this is not the time to wear gloom melancholic faces instead we should rejoice and be in celebration mood.

He said the deceased Ven. Professor Akindoyeni has gone to rest and from all the eulogies and testimonies given he has done his best adding that what is left is for those he has left behind to manage themselves well in a very godly way because the late professor cannot come back.

Most Rev. Nicholas D. Okoh said this at the Service of Songs held for the late Ven. Professor Akin Akindoyeni at St. Matthew’s Anglican Church, Gwarinpa Abuja.

His Grace, the Primate said where Professor Akindoyeni is, is by far incomparably better than where people are here on earth.

According to the passage where people are is described as tribulation but the late Prof. is in peace and felicity stressing that the challenge is not for the dead who has gone to meet with the Lord.

He said, that sermon, testimonies and Bible passages given are pointing to those that are alive, to take advantage of it adding that it is better to go to house of mourning than where they are feasting.

He asked the congregation and well wishers in the Church to go home and read Revelation Chapter 7 and make a choice to live a life pleasing to God refocused and stop struggling with the evils of life. So that at the end of it all they may be in joy at the triumphant end.

He prayed that God will hear their prayers and the things of the world will not deceive them.
