The Primate of All Nigeria, Anglican Communion, His Grace, the Most Rev’d Henry C. Ndukuba has called for a 3-day special prayers for the Church and the nation, in light of the spread of the coronavirus disease in Nigeria.
He made this known in a memo published by the General Secretary of the Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion, the Venerable Gershinen Paul Dajur, PhD.
The memo noted that the special prayers would start from Monday, April 6 to Wednesday, 8, 2020 and that prayers are to be observed at 12 noon, 3:00pm and 6:00pm for the 3 days.
In the memo, Primate Ndukuba called on all Anglicans to join in the fast and pray for God’s mercy and intervention in the challenges the Church and the nation are facing, as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.
The Primate further appreciated all Anglicans and the body of Christ for the Day of Solemn Prayer and Fasting that was held on April 1, 2020 and prayed for God’s blessings on all who participated and the nation at large.
