New Churches emerge in Abuja Diocese

The Bishop of Abuja and Primate of All Nigeria, Most Rev Henry Ndukuba, at the Second Session of the Eleventh Synod, reported that the Diocese has plated churches in the last Seven months. “We have held several Mission Mobilization programmes.” and quoting St. Augustine, Primate Ndukuba said ‘As Fire exists by burning so does the Church exist by Mission…’ Any church that stops reaching out with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the death process will set in.”  Abuja Diocese held a ‘Carnival for Christ’ out reach and in November 2020, the Diocese reached out to Yanga Village in Gude Mission Zone. The Diocese planted a Church in the community which is now thriving and since then, every one of the Seven Archdeaconries has plated at least a Church. over 300 people gave their lives to Christ at the Diocesan Mission Outreach Week was in May 2021 and the first service of the new Church in Yanga held on Sunday 9th May, 2021.
