Mrs Ndukuba Frowns Against Rituals killing of Young Girls.

The President of the Mothers’ Union and Women’s Guild , Girls Guild of the Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion and the Wife of the Primate, Mrs Angela Ndukuba has frowned against the wanton killing of girl children for rituals by traffickers and kidnappers in the society.

She made the statement during her presidential address at the 2025 Church of Nigeria Standing Committee holding at St Peter’s Anglican Church Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

Mama Nigeria further spoke against obnoxious practices where the genital organs are mutulated and vital body parts of victims of kidnappers are harvested for devilish purposes.

Mrs Ndukuba called on the government and the security agencies to take drastic action against perpetrators of these heinous crimes.

Speaking on the theme, she haped on the benefits of the bond of peace which is described as unity in diversity, love and compassion, effective ministry, spirituality and physical growth.

She also thanked God Almighty for sparing the lives of the faithful of the Church of Nigeria throughout the difficult year of 2004; and His goodness and mercy for life, health and safety to Niger Delta Diocese from different parts of the country.

Also speaking, the wife of the Dean of the Church of Nigeria and provincial MUWG President, Mrs Precious N. Enyindah warmly welcomed Mama Nigeria and all delegates that attended the meeting.

She drew her inspiration from Ephesians 4:3 and encouraged everyone to uphold peace and unity in their homes and the Church.

On her part, the President of WUWG in the Dioceses of Niger Delta, Dr Mrs Chinyere Oko- Jaja welcome Mama Nigeria and all delegates thanking God for safe arrival even as she expressed her delight and gratitude to God for the honour of hosting the Church of Nigeria Standing Committee for the third time.

She highlighted some of the crucial roles played by her husband in previous events, as Administrator of St Paul’s Cathedral, Niger Delta North, as Bishop in Niger Delta West Diocese and currently as Bishop of Niger Delta Diocese.

Dr. Mrs Oko-Jaja also shared a historical snapshot of the Delta Church, acknowledging the tireless efforts of King William Dappa Pepple, the former Monarch of the Bonny Kingdom, and the significant impact of the Delta Church on spreading the gospel across the Eastern Heartland.
