The wife of the Anglican Bishop of Ika Diocese, Mrs. Evelyn Nkemdilim Ekpenisi (Mama Ika), has during the ongoing Church of Nigeria Standing Committee holding at The Cathedral Church of Ascension, Boji-Boji Owa, expressed great joy for the privilege to co-host a national meeting of this magnitude.
She further, explained that the women are very much ready in respect of the hosting of the meeting, because God Almighty is already in charge.
She mentioned that women assigned into different committees are working tirelessly to ensure success of the epoch making event.
Continuing, The President of the Mother’s Union (MU), Women’s Guild (WG) & Girls’ Guild (GG) of Ika Diocese who also doubles as a professional teacher, explained that, despite her busy schedules, she has always ensured that areas are covered to ensure a balanced and complete scheme of work.
As a leader and role model to other women especially the Clergy wives under her watch, she has always encouraged everyone to look up to Jesus and live a life of love and humility.
Concluding, she expressed optimism that there will be blessing accruing from the hosting of the Standing Committee of the Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion and she wishes all the delegates a peaceful stay in Ika land.
