It was all joy as Rt Revd Felix Olorunfemi, the Bishop of Etsako Diocese, Edo State celebrated his Birthday on Monday, 8th June, 2020 at All Saints’ Cathedral, Auchi.

Responding to the Interview by the Communication/Editorial Unit of the Diocese, the Bishop said he came in at a difficult time which he never envisaged, thereby making it very difficult for him to worship with the diocese he was enthroned to pastor.

The Bishop added that he had gained a lot from the pandemic, as it has toughened him to get prepared for tougher days ahead.

Bishop Olorunfemi said the global scourge has impacted him positively; thus like the eagle that has gone on retreat; he was coming out with greater power.

He therefore enjoined the Christians as well as the church and society at large not to give up in the face of any difficulty.  According to the cleric, every difficulty is surmountable and Corona Virus is one of them but Jesus Christ is Lord over all.

The ceremony witnessed the cutting of his Birthday cake and presentation of gifts by individuals and groups.  The occasion was also used to pray for him and his Episcopal ministry.

It will be recalled that Rt Revd Felix Olorunfemi as the second Bishop of Etsako Diocese, was among the last set of Bishops consecrated in Lokoja in March this year.
