You are doing UNFORGIVENESS EVANGELISM if you:

[1] Preach love but secretly harbor resentment against people.

[2] Refuse to forgive those who wronged you, even after many years.

[3] Share the gospel but constantly bring up past offenses.

[4] Evangelize to others while avoiding people you need to reconcile with.

[5] Use the pulpit or your platform to subtly attack people who hurt you.

[6] Expect sinners to accept Christ’s forgiveness while you refuse to forgive.

[7] Teach about God’s mercy but live out personal grudges.

[8] Evangelize hoping to impress people, not to genuinely show Christ’s love.

[9] Treat certain people as “unworthy” of hearing the gospel because of what they did to you.

[10] Talk about God’s grace but make others “work” to earn back your favor.

[11] Harbor secret joy when something bad happens to someone who wronged you.

[12] Use people’s past mistakes to shame or control them, even after they repent.

[13] Find it easier to evangelize to strangers than to love your own family or church members who hurt you.

[14] Say “I forgive you” but keep rehearsing the hurt and bitterness in your heart.

[15] Weaponize your testimony by highlighting how bad others were to you rather than how good God has been.

[16] Speak more about how people wounded you than about how Christ healed you.

[17] Serve in ministry while secretly hoping for the downfall of those you haven’t forgiven.

[18] Evangelize about peace while personally living in cold war with certain people.

[19] Promote the kingdom of God publicly but undermine it privately through division and bitterness.

[20] Quote scriptures about forgiveness but believe “some things are just unforgivable.”

If one of these speaks about your reality please repent and accept God’s forgiveness in order to be able to forgive biblically and genuinely.
