CHURCHOF NIGERIA ANTHEM

Following the need to have an anthem  for the Church of Nigeria, church  musicians are hereby  called  upon  to  compose  an anthem  of three  stanzas that  are properly worded   and    theologically    sound  for  the  Church  of  Nigeria,  bearing  in  mind   the motto  of the Anglican  Communion   (John 8:32}.

Interested  composers  should  submit  their  works  (both  the  wordings  and staff}  to the address   below:

A Panel comprising   sound  musicians  and theologians   will  meet  to  select   the  one which meets the required  standard  and specifications  from  the number  that  will   be submitted.    Any work  recommended   by the  Panel as good  and acceptable  will  be played for the first  time  during  the Standing Committee,  to be held at Awka.
