The Archbishop, Metropolitan and Primate of All Nigeria (Anglican Communion), The Most Rev’d Dr Henry .C. Ndukuba has charged members of the Boys Brigade to hold on to the word of God in their everyday lives, stressing that the future of the Anglican communion, the church and the nation is in their hands.
He made this assertion in Port harcourt Rivers state on day one of the biannual 2025 church of Nigeria, Anglican communion, standing committee meeting holding in St cyprians Anglican Church, 50B hospital road, Portharcourt.
He emphasized the need for the young men and women of the Boys Brigade to stay close to God in all their endeavours even as he charged them to remain obedient to the church and civil authorities as the Boys’ Brigade was formed for the purpose of maintaining Christ mandate which will in-turn reflect on the society.
According to him, the church is committed to raising good young men and women so that they would be future leaders and be instrument for positive change for the nation.
Speaking further, the primate said all these cannot be done without Studying the bible.
He prayed for God’s continuous strength on all the boys,patrons and individuals who contributes towards the growth of the church.
The primate, his wife and entourage were welcomed with flowers and thrilled with colourful march past.
