50 hand-selected, top-level Anglican youth leaders are currently gathered in Jos from all parts of Nigeria for Jesus-Focused Youth Ministry training from July 4-9.
Archbishop Benjamin Kwashi Bishop of Jos and a leader in the World Anglican Fellowship, has invited East-West to equip Nigerian leaders to Introduce, Implement and Multiply Jesus-Focused Youth Ministry, with a vision to spread this training to all the provinces in Nigeria.
This training is coming on the heels of 45,000 Anglican young people having gathered six weeks ago to focus on the Gospel, the Word of God, and discipleship. Now, they want a simple strategy to grow them into Disciple-Makers.
Partners from Kenya- Fred Abok, Joseph Chiteri, Enoch Ambrokah, and Mark Juma will lead the training while the Reverend Canon Panshak Panbish is coordinating the team in Jos under the supervision of Venerable Yemi Fatusi from the Office of the Primate.
The GAFCON General Secretary, Most Rev Dr. Benjamin Kwashi was at the Yakubu Gowon Airport to personally welcome and pray with the resource persons from Kenya.
Dr. Barry St. Clair, the founder of Reach Out Youth Solutions is funding the training in collaboration with the GAFCON leadership.
