The former Primate  of Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion), the Most Rev’d Peter Jasper Akinola has declared total war against the hydra headed sin called stealing, so as to curb its growth and speed.

In his goodwill message delivered on his behalf by the Bishop of Egba Diocese, The Rt. Rev’d Akinola Emmanuel Adekunle, the Most Rev’d  Akinola said that the theme: “Thou Shall Not Steal,” is so relevant  at this time taking cognizance of the rottenness of our society at large.

According to the former Primate,

“the church should bring its searchlight and look inwards with a view to sanitizing the church, from the priest to the building committee, adding that stealing is a manifestation of greed and must be fought to standstill.”
