Execute Liars In Court – Nigerians Judges Charged Bishop Oladunjoye

The Bishop of the Diocese of Owo, the Rt. Rev. Dr. James Dayo Oladunjoye has recommended that false witnesses and liars in the court of law should be prosecuted and executed.

The erudite scholar and Bishop gave this recommendation at the Cathedral Church of St. James the great Okebola, Ibadan at the Service of Holy Eucharist. He corroborated his stand to what befell Ananias and Saphira who told lies against the Holy Spirit and died in quick succession. He said bearing false witness is a sin against the Holy Spirit adding that people fabricate lies for various reasons which according to him has no justification.

Bishop Oladunjoye who quoted copiously from the Scriptures said the word of God is clear and unambiguous that anyone who bears false witness shall not inherit the kingdom of heaven. The Bishop of Owo diocese charged Christians not to bear false witness because anyone who does what God hates is an enemy God and a rebel indeed.

He called on Nigerians to do things properly and in the ways of the Lord adding that there is nothing done in secret that will not be exposed, in fact he said it will be announced on the roof tops.
