Barrister (Mrs.) Chinelo Ngozi Anazodo, the Diocesan Deputy Chancellor of the Anglican Diocese of Kubwa has recently been elected Vice President, (West Africa) All Africa Conference of Churches (AACC). The occasion was the 10th General Assembly as well as the 50th Anniversary (1963-2013) of the AACC, which was also tagged, “Jubilee Assembly” held at Munyonyo Commonwealth Resorts, Kampala Uganda, from 3rd 9th June, 2013 under the theme, “God of Life, Lead Africa to Peace, Justice and Dignity.”
With Barrister (Mrs.) Anazodo’s election as the Vice President (West Africa) of the AACC, she also constitutionally assumes the position of the President, West African Council of Churches (WACC). The office also bestows on her an observer status in ECOWAS Parliament, African Union (AU) General Assembly as well as the United Nations (UN) General Assembly. She is required to intervene in all conflict regions of West Africa in particular and Africa in general. She shall be in office for five years.
